Just curious on how everyone made out of the parking arrangements? It cost me 8 bucks .I paid it the resturant before I left. During the dinner I heard some fellow Turfers parked somewhere else..Like to know what happened.

Ben Benson has a deal with the garage which is located rigth after 6th ave. and 1st garage on your left hand side. Anyhow when we got there I told them I'm going to a dinner party for 15 people at Bens and they told me to wait because there was a wedding at the hotel and an overflow from another party.300cars in the garage that night . Took me 1/2 on line to get a space...

I parked 2 blocks down. Cost me $ 28 plus $1 tip. Would have given a better tip if the parking fee was less.

Well, I went to the $8 place that the restaurant told me about and when I got there there were two Marines doing a security detail there who said it was full. I went around the block and parked at the Sheraton hotel. He asked me how long so I said I don't know yet and he said ok we'll see how much it is when you get back. I came back after dinner and he said $38 so it came to $40 after tip. I know it's alot but what can you do. I had a great time by the way. Really great bunch of people all of you guys (and girls) are. Thank you all very much for coming.

Stryke;

Where I come from, you can get a pretty nice dinner for $40! Not the best in town mind you but definitely respectable...

LOL.....where I come from you can get a parking spot in a hot garage for 3 hours for $40......LOL. No wonder all the retirees go to Florida.

I thought the attendent had the heater on. I thought to myself this guy must be crazy. After reading your post I now realize it was not the heater but the heat.

It was very hot in the garage.

When I got my car back the automatic climate control said it was 102 degrees outside. I guess that was the temperature in the parking garage. Good thing I wasn't wearing shorts or the leather seats would burn my legs.
