seriously thinking of this watch. Seem to be fewer panerai dealers around. Trying to get a feel for the chances of discounts. Any advice?

The panny Base models are quite sought after....they are reasonably priced and rarely offered with discounts....if you see one at the AD, i would suggest just pick it up....I have both the white and the black face....I wear them with the rubber strap and I think I prefer the white face....anyways good luck!

I Got my Panerai 112 from Berrys in Leeds. I live in London, never had any preivous dealings with the store and only spoke to them over the phone...still managed to get a 10% discount. Don't ask don't get so worth phoning around for the best deal.

Good luck in your search

Mike

Thanks Mike,

You're right; don't ask don't get. Gonna do some ringing around in Jan.

Tried it on in Selfridges Ox St. Full price including shop worn strap and slight scratch on case. Think I'll try elsewhere.

Hi Riaz,

I got my Panerai from Wempe in New Bond St. but that was at a time when they were uncommon and no discounts were to be had.

Hi
I have a Pam 250 daylight and love it. Definately gets the most wrist time out of my collection. Not sure of the policy on here of metioning other forums but Pams regularly show up on TZ-UK for reasonable prices if you don't mind pre-owned.

the pam Logo 0/5 series is pretty cool too if you're not a fan of the sandwich dial and see-thru casebacks

more true to the historics

To not "lost" money I prefer 001 or 002... Discontinued, printed dial, solid caseback :)
