both lol i would say the naut, it looks better on the ss braclet, the aqua is 10k on the rubber strap, iv just ordered a naut ,which ever one you buy make sure you order it don't take a 10k plaus watch off the shelf, you get the nice little cardboard box sealed watch, meaning no one has touched your watch thats how i did it makes it all that bit more spec.... but which ever you decide it's truly one of a kind... nothing more spec in my eyes :) :) :)

I think the Nautilus is a much more interesting watch from any angle you look at it, the only downside could be the 70ish look but I could live with that.
I was disappointed the few times I tried an aqua on, of course both are top notch but given the choice Nautilus hands down

well discouts a funny one i know my jewller very well and have spent a small fotune with him, i do get a discount not that i know what it is untill i buy the watch he will usually knock about 10% off the price sometimes more, my advice is to stick with one jewller rather than hunting for the best price, ur loyalty wont go un rewarded. i love both watches and the aqua suited me best at first then i decided i couldnt live with out the naut lol really bad, im looking at over a year wait cos its made to order rather than of the shelf i like the idea that the watch was made for me, it's an amotional exsperience buying your first patek, nothing will ever compair, they are so understated and unknown to your average consumer. when you buy a Rolex be prepaired to have every one to say thats fake, when you buy a patek be prepaired for people to say whats that, its about you and your quest for perfection , in my mind it dosent get any better. a watch of watches hope this helps you. your looking at about 13.4 k for a ss naut, deer but in my mind worth every penny.

:)

Decisions, decisions! :)

Personally, I'd go with the Nautilus.
I'm not a big fan of the Aquanaut on a bracelet - I think it looks better on a strap and if I had one it'd be on a leather strap rather than the rubber.

What a great position to be in, Andy! :)

In the same way that you could live with an APROO Safari....another design from the 1970s by the same designer who did the Nautilus, Gerald Genta.

...iv just ordered a naut...

Which model have you ordered, Mark?

LOL! Fair enough.
I don't have tree-trunk wrists like some here but I find that 40mm is the smallest I can wear on a bracelet and 36-37mm on a strap.

Not necessarily.
You could spend your whole life/bank account buying glorious vintage or recently discontinued Pateks which most people find too small to wear :)

Your watch certainly suits you and it is right and correct that you get the appropriate size for your build rather than what's considered a fashionable size. I'm sure there are many people wearing watches that are simply too big for them only because they thought they should go with the oversized trend.

And I can tell you're Scottish as your skin tones have the classic celtic bluey-whiteness...LOL! :D

As for your brother's collection, that's pretty impressive. You should get your brother to join TURF - wouldn't be the first pair of brothers here...;)

Yeah the scottish blues good lol, will try my best to get him on the turf.
i think it rediculous when you see people with those tw steel crazzy sized watches and they are my size its just laughable, getting back to the pp i think cos its a watch of the "conisour" lol it should be elegentand understated so thats why im unsure on the larger size but il keep you up todate on the choice and pics will be something to look forward to in the future :D

PP tend to agree but even they have joined the over-sized trend - I mean, they're even making 40mm watches now! <gasp!>

lol :D yeah i guess you can only buck the trend for so long but they seem to be doing a dam good job at it, they even say that they don't seem to be affected by the fake market which i supose is true cos those who know know and those who dont well they arnt going to spend allot of money on a hidden gem lol
