Sellers beware:
DO NOT SELL TO THIS GUY !!
If you do have to sell please take these precautions:
#1 only meet him at the AD of your choise (for the brand that you are selling). Have that AD make a full inspection & description of the condition of the timepiece (at his cost). Even with that complete description Tatty will still regret the sale afterwards but this time you won't. He will have second thoughts and he will even trash the build quality of some of the oldest manefactures.
#2 If he asks you to hold the watch for him for a month or longer tell him to p#ss off! Even when he comes with a pathetic story like " I have to go on cruise" or "I don't get my paycheck in before xx/xx"
#3 If he asks you to drive to another country to meet him at the ferry (as a footpassenger): Tell him to p#ss off !
#4 If he asks you to call him on his foreign work phone because he can't or is'nt allowed to call abroad: Tell him to p#ss off !
#5 Better yet: don't sell anything to him at all !!
I don't have any personal experience buying from him but I do want to send a clear warning to potential buyers: On one hand he describes a watch that he has bought from me as a piece of junk while on another forum he offers it for sale without any word on broken clasps, damaged crystals, poor quality etc. Please compare these links: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=105457
