Don't usualy like Omegas.
But I really like this, tempted to buy it.
What do you people think?

As for the Omega, sure it's a Speedmaster with a chronograph - but since it also has a triple-date and moonphase it's certainly more than a sports watch. That'd be like saying a Patek 5970 (http://www.minutemachines.com/watches/PatekPhilippe/Patek5970/Patek5970.html) is a sports watch!

As for my opinion of the watch itself...well, to me all triple-dates do have a definite charm but, notwithstanding what I said above, I also feel that the Speedmaster case does look a little too utilitarian to sucessfully carry off 18k. Also, I don't like the hands and their central attachments. Sorry, Tim :(

Would I be right in saying that it would be powered by a derivative of a valjoux 7551?
I don't really know anything about Omegas, but I find it hard to resist triple dates with moonphase in 18ct (Bit of a magpie)
If that is the movement, it is only 17 jewel. Not really the best engine for all that complication.

Not keen on that, personally. For me, I don't like the way the dials are organised.
