I am looking for a nice triple date moon.
Stumbled on this.
What an ugly over complicated contraption. I wasn't aware that Heath Robinson was designing for Breitling.

I really wand TD Moon.
But I don't want one that much!

There's something about the bracelets on Breitlings that I just don't like.

Breitling chronos are very busy but I wouldn't mind a basic Navitimer on a strap as that's an iconic design.

But that one, there...that's pretty messed up.

It's the same with the Omega Speedy. The basic model is the cleanest and most honest version - an icon.. But once they start adding calendars or moonphases or different hands, then it all goes to pot IMO.

I agree. Clean designs which give the impression that all aspects of the end product were anticipated at the outset always look best.
Once you start adding bells and whistles, they start to look like christmas trees.

BTW I also like the basic Navi.

If, by that, you mean you really want a triple-date moon-phase, then I'd suggest you check your PMs...

And get that new keyboard! :p

How about a Chronomaster T? Although it's hard to make a triple date dial uncomplicated (no pun intended), this is at least more tasteful than the Breitling. Actually like this better in the smooth dial than the guilloche.

If I had the spare cash, that Patek Chrono would be on my wrist, pronto! During the recession, the watch (like many I suppose) could be had for 20% off list. I wonder if that's still true?

I'm not a fan of most Breitlings but I would definitely have one of these in my collection since, as I said above, it is an iconic design.

I had one that got no wrist time so I decided to sell... That was a hard watch to move...

That's interesting, Keith.
Can you tell me what it was about the watch the prevented it from getting worn - was it, as Mark said, that it was too "in your face"?
