Are just stupid, after being stiched up in this purchase I had to send it back to AP to have a new clasp fitted, they then sent it back to me minus warrenty papers (luckily they found them in the workshop and sent them back to me) I have again sent it back to be regulated due to it loosing so much time (30 seconds a day) and I also asked for a quote to polish the case and fit a new crystal (more things that were wrong with this watch when purchased) Anyway they came back with over £600!! Blinking stupid price IMHO.

I would have told them about the time lose when I sent it the first time but I was unable to wear the watch due to the broken clasp

Sounds like you havent had much luck buddy. If its any conselation I had a similar service from Rolex Bexley.

Just goes to show that luxury brands are guilty of bad customer service too.

They are lovely watches though......definately a step up from your average Rolex (can I say that on TURF - sorry)

Shoddy.

I would have expected the AP service centre to have checked the timekeeping before returning the watch to you.

Well, that depends.

Simply because it is a sports watch, I would not consider it anywhere near as robust as an "average Rolex". The cheapest Rolex would absolutely wipe the floor with an APRO when it came to timekeeping, robustness and dependability.
(And before anyone says a £25 quartz would do the same, remember you're not comparing like with like)

That said, I'd still have a APROO Safari but I'd ignore the macho name and treat it as gently as my Patek.

I agree Harb, I have now done a trade deal with a trusted member for a rolex ss daytona. It is a 2008 in 95% condition (I trust this bloke thank goodness) I gave a full and honest description on the AP and just want to see the back of this watch to be honest, it has cost me a fortune but I really do not care.
