"Simple" isn't exactly the first word that springs to mind when I see a watch with intersecting and eccentrically-placed (and by that I'm using the original definition of the word) subdials.

That said, those are gorgeous watches! :D

The Lunar has always been on my wishlist... tried one on a few years ago in Wempe. Think it was around £5k back then but i'm guessing a lot more now.

Does that mean you didn't guess very often back then...? ;)

It's nice how they made the hands blue to match the lunar

So I went down to the AD today and tried on some of their watches. The ones shown above felt just a little small. Very nice watches but didnt have that wow factor you get when you try on an amazing watch.

Then, she brought out these. 2010 models. 42mm of pure heaven.

Did a quick goggle search and here are the retail prices for the 3 i could find in steel... These are the older versions and not the newer ones shown at Basal.

Date $8,500
Panograph $13,500
Lunar $9,900

The site was offering them with discounts too. I think they're pretty good prices for what you're getting.

Ive seen them (the top 3 ) for a bit less than that on the net
Lunar 7,495
Reserve 6,850
And the Date for just over 6,000 USD

The XL 2010 models I really like. The only price I can get so far was from the AD today. Im sure there will be better prices when they become more available.

Yep! I had both of those as well as two of the top ones in front of me today.
After I tried them all on, I had no interest what so ever in the older models.

I dont get moved often by watches these day, but those gave me that "warm fuzzy feeling" we've all experienced :)

a Milgauss LV was at the top of my wishlist but that's just been bumped.
