So I really don't follow the AP RO line at all and don't get all the varieties of limited editions, but as one is for sale and I don't want to muck up that thread, could someone explain why AP swaps position of the 2 and 3 marker on the dial?

Google is your friend. Shaq's jersey number for the Miami Heat is 32. D'uh, I'm not a sports fan, either.

Hi Marc!

I see you found the answer yourself!

Personally, on the subject, whilst I respect AP as one of the "holy trinity" of horology (which includes PP and VC) and whilst I would love a ROO Safari, the myriad special editions and celebrity endorsed watches totally devalue the brand, IMO.

Sure, the AP fanboys wet themselves with each "special edition" - different coloured hands with matching strap stitching, anyone? - and sure, I'll admit that some of the variant combos are more attractive than the standard watches but, really, I'm not interested.

Until, of course, they create a Harb TURF Limited Edition :D

I don't get it either. I can see the value in PP and VC although VC do make some fairly ugly monstrocities. I don't get AP. Also I hear lots of people saying they are friable and unreliable.
I think JLC should join the holy trinity and AP should be removed . VOTE!

Don't want to start a AP hate thing. They have made some very beautiful watches. BUt, I do think the whole ROO thing is over hyped and the watches are just not worthy of it.

I've made no secret here about my opinions of the ROO series--continually re-versioning the same watch cheapens the lot, IMHO. Strongly in favor of voting them out of the triumvirate.
