Not been on here for a while but thought I would tap in to the collective once again ( resistance is futile ) :)
I have just picked up, after much searching a gold JLC reverso as a 25th wedding anniversary present for my wife. She wears a 1920's rose gold bulova which she loves but she keeps breaking it, and when I send it away for repair it seems to take 6 months each time. So I picked up the reverso, which took some time to find as it has a quartz movement which is right up her street as she keeps forgetting to wind the other one.
Finally the question; Where would I get this watch serviced? I dont want to send it back to Jager as they tell me this will take 6-8 weeks and I cant put my anniversary back so anywhere with a decent turnaround in the UK?
