The rubber strap is one of the most comfortable to wear in the market as it's soft and wraps around your wrist like your second skin...;)
Lovely piece of kit for serious desk divers everywhere! :)
(....but, hey! Aren't we all?!)
TBH, I'm not a big fan of rubber straps, either - my wrists are pretty hairy and I find rubber (even from AP) very uncomfortable.
Wear it in great health!
(...and welcome to TURF! :))

harb

The watch is not huge at 42mm dia and the gap is due to my relatively small wrist on a regular length strap..may have to change to a short length strap for a better fit.
That is a beautiful watch, by any standards.
I sincerely hope you have a great deal of pleasure wearing it.
What a choice watch! I love it!

each time this pops up I have another look and it's sort of growing on me, more of a statement in metal and rubber ...... not sure that's healthy ;)

that is an absolutely beautifull timepiece !! As a former APRO chrono(40mm) and APROO (44mm.) owner I am temped to agree that 42mm. might be the best compromise in that series.
