I can't seem to take this off of my wrist, despite the LV and AT calling to me from the watch box - this really is a beautiful watch. Anyway, a few Sunday morning photos, just because...

Yep, comes in the box along with the bracelet and its comfy enough that I alternate between the two.
I'm not at all surprised you wear that a lot. It is a very nice watch, from a great maker.

My son has a similar Seiko automatic dive watch (same crown position but 200m on dial) from 2003. Not sure of the model number at the mo; pretty sure it was imported and not sold by Seiko in UK.
It's started to make a grating sound from the winding rotor and therefore needs to be looked at. Anyone know whether Seiko UK is happy to service any models - or can anyone suggest an alternative Seiko repair service?

I imagine he has the Sumo (SBDC001) which is a fine watch and - as you suggest - a Japan domestic market model.
I think you'll find Seiko UK can service it quite easily.

Thanks very much for the info.
Looks similar to your pic, but think it says "Diver" on the dial.
Anyway, he can send it off to Seiko UK now. Cheers again.

Prompted to add a couple of gratuitous shots on the very well-engineered bracelet...
