Simpler times

I want to go back to the times when "getting high" meant on a swing.

When "drinking" meant Apple juice.

When "DAD" was the only "hero" we knew, when "Love" was "Mom's Hug", when "DAD's shoulder" was the highest place on earth.

When our "worst enemies" were our siblings, when the only thing that would hurt were "skinned knees"

When the only things "broken" were our "toys" & when "goodbyes only meant "till tomorrow".

Life Has Changed

as long as you have experienced those feelings all was good... some kids never did.

That was when you hadn't discovered girls, cars or money.

Back to those old times, drinking and driving were accepted, as was smoking. Asbestos was OK.

But most importantly, you still had the chance to have a VW beetle as your first car. ;)
