Ok, time for a guessing game! I've just bought something that's Swiss made. What might it be? I'll post another clue later. :)

There is injury potential with the item.
Next clue, it has the #7 on it and features the colour red.

Another clue - it was the most expensive version in the shop, although, there are a couple of special edition collectors' versions available for about twice the price!

Toblerone ?
ChrisEdu

LOL :) I used to rather like Toblerone! As for the motorbike, I think my wife would have something to say about that as an idea. Still, could be good leverage for a sports car! :)
Another clue: It's something you'd use in a very popular hobby.

No - although I am researching some medication options at the moment.

Nope - not a sporting activity, although one that can pull large crowds.

???
This is a puzzler. I recently bought a Swiss made Microphone for my wifes Violin, but they don't make a collectors version.
Maybe the swiss make great fishing gear, they don't have a sea, but they have some great lakes , that must have fish, fishing reels would be the kind of thing they'd be good at.
Maybe a camera, they used to make some really good ones.
If it's a cuckoo clock, that would be really sad, the Swiss only made those so we would know that they actually do have a sense of humor.
I think they also make good microscopes.
I hope you tell us somwhere in the thread, I am kind of intrigued ish

Hmm.... Did you know the ancient Greeks made theirs out of bread?! I wonder if that's where the idea for a French stick came from?! :)
Snooty is the closest to getting it, so far.

Time for another (big) clue! The company was started by someone called Felix Flisch.
And this is from their maintenance instructions:
'It is advisable to clean your tool after each use. If your tool is particularly dirty or subject to rusting after exposure to moisture, do not delay cleaning.'

Particulary good advice, in general:)

We have a winner! Well done, Craig!
I thought the last clue would give it away! Indeed - a pair of Felco No. 7 classic pruning shears (or secateurs).
I've been fed-up with crappy cheap secateurs in the garden, so I thought I'd treat myself to something decent. These were the most expensive in the shop, at £75, and are a delight to use. The lower handle rotates, to make them more comfortable and less effort to use, and all the components are replaceable. The company have made two limited editions which cost approx. £150.

Interesting, Chris, and a coincidence. Yesterday I picked up a pair of Friskars with "gears" to prune apple tree (3/4" thickness rating, life-time warranty, replaceable components). $31 USD.

I've just been burying more of my irrigation pipes and have had to cut through a number of roots using a big pair of anvil cutters, oh, and an axe! :) I'm now watering my garden as I type, thanks to the computer control unit! :) I've installed a Gardena system, complete with the C1060plus control computer and 6-way auto water distributor. So far, I've used about 250m of pipe for my veggie plots and side flower bed.
I've also managed to pretty much bust another digging fork in the process. I got a new, warranty replacement, stainless steel fork a few weeks ago and already the prongs are more crooked and out of l;ine than a yokel's teeth! (Not really sure why I came up with that!) :) The previous fork was replaced because I bent the shaft of the handle in half! I also broke my stainless steel trowel, today.

Yippie! What did I win what did I win???? LOL
Haven't got much of a garden yet mostly some herbs, peppers and mint for mojitos. Luckily I've already got a sprinkler system as you need one just to keep what passes for grass down here though it isn't hooked up to my computer.
Oh yeah and about 50 banana plants! (Down from over 100 due to a cold snap we had a while back.)

We've got some peppers in the greenhouse, along with tomatoes and cucumbers.
