After the exit of Fer's new beau (after the loss of Alonso :) ), could this be the year Harb's beau finally cracks the big time? Could be an interesting week's tennis.

i enjoy the non body building tennis players (men and women ) like Federer and some others
hate the Williams playing for the ladies instead of the mens
i am very old fashion when it comes to tennis players

Nothing old fashioned about not wanting your female players to be carrying extra balls between their legs! :)

Aye curumba!!! SHe's in the wrong sport! Those look more like shot-putts than tennis balls! I should think they must be slowing her down and putting quite a strain on her back. Still, she (they) seem quite perky! :) I wonder how well she does in mixed-doubles?!

I recently read about her plans for a breast-reduction and was sad for days. It must be 'cos I'm such a sensitive soul...;)

Google images for Simona Halep (http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=Simona%20Halep&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi)makes for interesting background research to this story - NSFW, it should probably be said...;)

Who says tennis is boring?! A very busty & bouncy (17 yrs old …GASP!) Simona Halep scores the winning point in her tennis match against… “Whats that, oh she didn’t win?” Oh… who cares! Word from Wimbledon Stadium is that all the men in attendance had to receive treatment for “whiplash” due to their necks constantly bobbing up and down…

An amazing record!

14 Grand Slam titles and he has won on all four surfaces - one of only 6 men to have achieved this feat.

He joins Fred Perry, Don Budge, Rod Laver, Roy Emerson and Andre Agassi as a winner of all four Grand Slam titles and matches the record total of Sampras, who never managed to win on the clay of Roland Garros.

Incredible!

And note his YM-II - see this Thread (http://newturfers.com/vb/showthread.php?p=3903#post3903)for further discussion.

I wish we could have seen him playing against Sampras.

For entertainment's sake I'm glad he didn't play in the early 90's as without Agassi/Becker it was the most boring period of men's tennis I have ever watched.

I'd rather see Federer against Johnny Mac or Borg, and Nadal against Connors or a prime Agassi.
