Since 2006, Federer signed a multi-year contract with Rolex and is one of the company's brand Ambassadors.

It makes me laugh how those that can afford things get them for free, whilst those that can't don't! :)

Anybody see Mirka, the longtime girlfriend--now wife, wearing a YG Daytona? Given her current size (to be fair, she's quite pregnant), it doesn't really look too big on her.

Probably the same RG Daytona Federer was wearing earlier this year, he must have a dozen rolexes sitting in his cupboard waiting to be worn

Never been a fan of 'ambassadors' when it comes to watches, or those worn by people who picked them up in 'goodie' bags from the oscars/ryder cup/etc.

was surprised to see Rolex flash ads on www.bbc.co.uk today aswell... guess even a dinosaur like Rolex has to evolve sometime

He does a great job for the company. If you watch him when the match ends, the very first thing he does when he gets to his bench is take the Rolex out of his bag and put it on. I don't know if he consciously thinks about it, or it's just automatic at this point. It seems like he's aware though that he has a job to do and that is to have the watch photographed on him. The other thing I noticed, on Tennis video games like WI Tennis, posters etc, Federer always has a watch on while Players posing with him don't- including Roddick on the WI Tennis game. I wonder if Federer is able to dictate that his watch be shown and not the others?
