I finally have broadband!

After well over ten years of rural (24kbs) dial up :mad: , Verizon Wireless has come to the rescue. Sheesh. $60/mo for 5 gig usage. So far so good and I can finally look at PICTURES!!!!! :p

Holy cow man, you had dial up till now? I didn't know it was even still being offered. They charge you per usage? Only plans available here are unlimited but you pay more for faster speeds.

I had broadband for a while and then had to shift to a Dial up type data card because the company's products that I distribute gave us unlimited cata cards for free.

After a frustrating 3 months , I am back to broadband . We pay $20/month for unlimited 100MBPS. Its more expensive for higehr speeds

Now that you have broadband, we need more Gun pictures! They should be easy to upload now! ;-)

Yes, I still even need to use dial up for my e-mails. :mad: No, it's not per usage. I leave it all day and it goes "dormant". But they keep track and it's 5 gig allowed/month and anything you go over is .25¢ per meg extra. I'm almost one month now and I'm running just shy of 3 gig so I'll be OK. I go to a lot of forums and there's a lot of gun pics, so it looks like it will be OK. Downloading movies however would be a killer! :rolleyes:

This is all of course until 'the one' (obama) get us out in the sticks the broadband he's supposedly promised.......stimulus, you know?........ :rolleyes:
