  • Got the call today, my watch is back at the AD. That makes it 7 weeks from dropping off at the dealer.

    • 8 weeks from agreeing the estimate to getting the watch back and £430

      • Collected my watch today. £572 including the replacement crown. So nice being able to rotate the bezel once more. However, all is not 100% joy - the coronet is now upside - down when screwed in fully.

        • It might very well be my imagination, but the new crown feels bigger?! I'm guessing that it probably isn't, but it certainly feels like it.

          • It took 6 weeks from drop off for my 16610LV to return from service. They replaced the crown in addition to the usual servicing and polishing. Watch looks excellent now. My only gripe is that the rolex coronet on the clasp looks visibly thinner after the polish and I imagine will look quite bad after the next service. So, next time, I may just opt for a movement service.

            Overall, 9.5/10 happy.
