  • Expensive watches - which courier?

    Hi all,

For your expensive Rolexes who are you sending them by? Will be over the usual 2.5k amount Royal Mail allows.

    Cheers, Tim

I use Parcel Pro to insure - generally I ship with Royal Mail (Special delivery if in the UK) as they're by far the most reliable.

To insure with Parcel Pro costs about 0.25% of the declared value, so very competitive when compared to the alternatives.

Thanks for the info. This is for someone to send a watch to me.

Hmm why do people have to live in Manchester!

Is Manchester a poor place to live?

Sorry for my ignorance. I can't even spell UK. I haven't been more than 40 miles from home in 15 years until my son moved 42 miles away. I am not allowed out w/o supervision so my travelling is limited.

OK changed my mind going to collect. Where in Manchester (on a Sunday) can I get a watch authenticated? Thanks all! Tim

This is a Rolex AD in Manchester but they may not be open on a Sunday. Best give them a call. There are other ADs you will find on the Rolex website.

Can't help with any other non-ADs who may also be able to authenticate.
