He has edited the original post and I have received PM's from other members who were interested i the watch telling me that he kept changing his story about the watch when questioned. He described the watch originaly as 99% this in my opinion is an absolute joke. Very dissapointed but I suppose you have to live and learn. I know Frank is well liked on here but unfortunatly my dealing with him has been a real eye opener and I feel he is a bad guy. I have been cautioned over this so expect a Ban for daring to voice my opinion.

Martin,
you complete post is a bunch of BS. #1 I didn't alter or change my ad since july 2009 wich was months before you bought the watch. This AP was the personal watch of the AP dealer and I bought it from him in june. He stamped and signed the papers giving me 2 years of factory warranty from then on. Besides there are other well know forum members who were offered the same watch from this dealer who can confirm my story. #2 the clasp was not broken at the moment you bought it. I wore the timepiece to a dinnerparty a week before. At this dinner I was joined by yet another veteran Turfer and never did it fall from my wrist like you describe. #3 Since it still has warranty you should'nt take the watch to a non-autorised watchmaker but to AP. They will honor this warranty or at least contact the dealer who sold it and thus you should'nt pay for a repair. #4 the real reason this deal went sour for the both of us is that you are TOO cheap. Instead of flying over like I suggested you wanted to save the last cent and came over as a foot passenger on the ferry. I had to drive 4 hours back and forth, had to wait another hour because your ferry had delay. Then you rushed in, took indeed only a quick look at the watch and went on. Who buys an expensive timepiece, demands personal hand-over 200kms from the sellers house and then doesn't make a decent inspection of the watch. You should have flown in, meet me at the AP dealer in town, have the watch inspected completely, had lunch and then flown back. This would have cost you a meager 200 euros and it would have saved me half a day driving and a lot of headache. But you knew better !! ![]()

Frequent ANY forum where I am a regular and you will see your statement is the furthest from the truth you could ever get, but thanks for you impartial comments.
Merry Christmas If you pop over to TZUK you will see the comments from other members of this site that backs up my statement. Frank As for flying, once again you are lying. I sent you a message with a link to the oage where it quoted me over £500 to fly to you. I also told you that I lived in Cardiff and would not only have to pay the airfair but drive 3 hours to the airport and 3 hours back. Yes I chose the cheaper option as I had given you every last penny I had for a watch I had worked and saved VERY hard for. Maybe you are worth a hell of a lot more than me? But I really could not afford any other way to get to you. If you had described the watch accurately in the first place I would not have gone through all the effort. I have all the emails to back everything I say up. You are a rouge in MY opinion. I am sure you are a gentleman in other peoples opinion and that is fine with me. I also wish you a Merry Christmas as I have nobody but myself to blame for not checking the watch over thoroughly, I accept this and I am paying the price for it. I told you and other almost immediatly about the clasp. I will get the watch fixed but again in MY opinion you deserve a bad guy rating. God bless.

Can I ask why Frank's lies have been left on this thread? He states that I demanded a F2F not true. He also states that I am TOO cheap and that it would have cost only 200 euro to fly over again not true, I in fact emailed him explaining that the cost was over £500 GBP and a 4 hour round trip back and forth the airport (I even sent him the link to the quotation). It states in your rules only stick to FACTS, I have all personal emails that were sent back and forth to prove what I am saying.
Kind regards

I am asking myself why YOUR lies have been left here. You know well enough that the 500GBP airfare was for your AND your wife while on the ferry you ended up coming alone. I did send you a link for a 200 euro fare with VLM for 1 person.
Yes it might have been 4 hours driving to the airport for you but now I ended up driving 6 hours back and forth to Calais and so did you. Clearly you have buying remorse like you stated yourself on http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=98595 Clearly you are not AP material and should have better bought a Daytona but believe me I have had both an the ROC sticks out in build quality. The latest Daytona do have a better clasp. Now you are advertising the watch on other sites and you don't even have the decentcy to add your own pics. How pathetic! http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=105457 Also if you still believe the watch to be damaged with a broken clasp etc I don'y find a word of it in your own ad. That is the best example of a double standard if I have ever seen one!! You make me sick to my stomach ![]() ![]()

Taffy, we are not a judge and jury and are not here to determine facts or lies. If you want your comments to be left then Frank has the right to reply and have his comments left. You cannot post an accusation and not let him reply, regardless of how you feel about his comments. I do see that you have listed the watch for sale on another forum and have not mentioned a word about any damage whatsoever. Perhaps you can explain that better.
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=105457 FT Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chron It has 18 months warranty left on it and will get the third year once registered. I would like to trade it for a Two Tone Rolex Daytona. Fully boxed and dated papers to June 09. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Mart

It clearly states PM For full run down which I have sent to 2 members on request.
Again copy and paste only what you want people to see. Here is the advert for the watch on the site I frequesnt the most This watch is well documented on this site I will list it as honestly as I can (as you all know I HATE people who knowingly advertise falsly ) Firstly the clasp seems worn and opens far too easily in my opinion. I have received a few messages from the person I bought it off who states time and time again that there is nothing wrong with the clasp and it must be something I am doing wrong or it may not be sized to my wrist? Hay who knows, but again in my opinion it opens far too easily. The good news is that it does have full warranty and I have spoken with AP in London and they said they will either repair or replace the clasp, be aware this could take 2 minutes or 6 weeks dependant on what is wrong. The bezel - The bezel has a few tiny swirl marks that will polish out no problem, the other marks that are either harder to polish out or dinks are - At the 20 past it has one very small dink and the in between 20 and 25 past has another even smaller dink (we are talking minute here gents but want make sure that EVERY mark is stated) at the half past an even smaller mark (we are talking eye glass now needed ) At the 24 minutes to another mark as above (eye glass needed) At the 10 to it has a dink just above the screw, this is visable by the eye but is small, just above this around the 18 minutes to it has a smaller mark but again it is visable to the naked eye and lastly at the 3 minutes to an even smaller mark. Just to make this clear as the cleanest water I am being very fussy pointing out a few of these but at least the new owner will be more than happy when he or she receives the watch and thinks bloody hell he is fussy I have spoken to AP on these as well and they assured me that all but the actual dinks will be taken out when it goes in for the clasp repair, this will be the same for any hairline swirls on the ss bracelet strap as well. I was sold the watch as a few months old but the serial number dates it to late 2004 to 2005. The papers are dated June 2009 and AP will honour the full warrenty and will also include the third year once the watch has been registered with them. I will put up the pictures I was supplied with as I have left my camera in work and to be honest I dont think it would pick up the other marks I have described as it is a crappy work issue camera I forgot about the mark on the saphire that is only visible at vertain angles. Plese show me where I have Missed anything? Martin

Copied and pasted exactly what the link had in it, not what I want people to see. Don't really care what people see, we are neutral here. This issue has been beaten to death on the forum for 2 weeks now. I think everyone got your point by now. Subject closed, lets all move on.
