Default Omega Olympic Edition

Guys,

As you all know, I am Rolex MAD!
However I have just spotted this which is due out soon and I think it looks really really nice.

No idea yet what price it will be...other Seamasters are £1-2k, so might not be very expensive....

Any opinions?

Not so sure; to me, the red/white combo on this watch looks kinda cheap.
(No offense to any Canadians!

Plus, I really don't like the Olympic logo on the second hand in the same way that I hate the 007 logo on the so-called "Bond" watch (pah!)

I'm sure it'll be relatively accessible price-wise, but it's just not my cuppa.

It's an illness, and hanging around with other addicts and meeting dealers isn't the best way of kicking the habit.

It happens...!

Anyway, back to this watch, made in a typically Omega-defined "limited" series of 2010 - Canada had a fantastic Games, topping the gold medals table, and winning the Mens ice-hockey in overtime was thrilling - so if I was Canadian, I'd be out there buying one of these right now!

Possibly...

Default Not too big on that one

but this one I like--totally different price category and look, but I've always liked the PO chrono, and the Olympic rings at the end of the second hand are a little more subtle here.

Agree....I like Omega, but to me this is just another way of selling the same Seamaster using a different color bezel and visual reference to the games. I also think my problem is that I liken the red bezel to much less expensive watches on the market.

Now, a red AND blue bezel atop a 1675, well that's a different story.....

I like it! thinking it would be about £1500 however at £2380 its hardly top of my list now...too close to Rolex prices.
