  • My Dogs

I rescued one four years ago and the other three years ago. How can people give them up , I guess they had there reasons,

Im possibly biased but how handsome are they

I still can't quite believe that, despite being less than 30 miles apart, we still haven't had a GTG!

I think people buy them without realizing the responsibility that goes along with it.

Nice dogs and good on you for rescuing them!

I am getting ready to look for a cat to rescue to keep Pandarus company.

They're good looking dogs - My boys would love them!

Here's a pic of our dog. It's a cliché, but he is most definitely one of the family.

Lovely dogs Paul, our neighbour has a puppy beagle which replaced a old one. Seem like very nice dogs.
My wife and I were saying only today that we could not imagine our home without dogs now- coming up to 18 months since we got the first. and doubled up the back end of last year

Harb, probably not. Kirk has had 9 matings in the last 18 months, and has produced 57 pups so far (the outcome of the 9th mating at present unknown).

The way it works is that the phone rings, and the breeding centre say they have a ‘date’ for Kirk, and they want him there in a few days. I drop him off there, he fulfills all the details in the job description, and then I pick him up a few days later.

He’s always keen when he gets there, but on the other hand he’s also always keen when I pick him up to come home. Not all his dates are with Golden Retrievers – Guide Dogs breed a lot of Retriever x Labrador crosses for their training.

Given the timing now, I think it’s unlikely that Kirk will be in flagrante at the time of the Open Day, but you probably wouldn’t want to see that anyway.
