    Hi David,

Here's a Thread that has a lot of useful information about import duties etc - http://www.newturfers.com/vb/showthr...ht=import+duty

      Hi,
I had similar dilemma looking for a newish daytona. I happened to purchase the black one on here from Francisbacon.

I spoke with my AD and they told me 2-3 years, looked on a few sites for pre-owned and most people want pretty strong money whether the watch was 3 months old or 6 years.

In the end I put a simple "wanted" advert on another rolex forum which resulted in lots of pm's that a couple pointed me here. Hey presto 1 week later, a nice black dial daytona!!

Good luck, I'm sure one will turn up!!

I think placing an advert here is a good move.

I also know that they are available from AD's in the UK - you just have to persevere with it. I got mine last year quite quickly. Contact a few and let them know how serious you are, in short show them the colour of your money

Spoke to my AD when in discussing the new Sea-Dweller. I'm a very infrequent customer but got the impression they could get me one in a few months.
