        That’s tarnish on the first one?

          The bronze is supposed to "patina" (a fancy word for tarnish I posit) thus making each piece eunuch. I think there are chemicals that can restore the brass but the intention from the start is to have the watch change color, along with leaving black marks on the wrist.

            Is the case back bronze on the Tudor as well or steel ?

              Good weather today and the lawns will get mowed for the first time this year. THEN it will officially be spring as the neighbor mows a winter's worth of dog carp into the air. Ah, the pleasant aroma portends the coming of spring.

                Funny how, until now, patina usually referred to the watch dial/markers.
