  • Incoming - something different

An interesting watch from an interesting German company.

Just bought myself an Otium Trigulateur - http://www.quasimodo-watch.com/regulateur1/Club125.html

The company produce some interesting ways of telling the time, this one probably being a bit more on their conservative side.Click image for larger version

          Funny!
But I was referring to their more usual designs...

Id be spending so much time staring at those watches trying to figure out the time, that people think Im slow. Well I am, but theres no need for me to advertise it....

They're watches for people that don't really need, or care, to know the time. Knowing the time is just so passe!

From memory, I think it's 42mm. The dial is really gorgeous and then the way the three sub-dials have a raised outline is a lovely detail.

Hope you didn't pay over the odds for this one. They were originally waaaay overpriced by Dirk Hillgruber, the designer/owner. Bearing in mind it is only running a modded ETA 6497-1, they were originally priced at over 3,000 euros. The Otium company ceased trading in 2013 and was dissolved in 2014. Fellows auction house had a load of these auctioned off a couple of years ago and most of them went for between £500 and £600.

I had a little dabble on one of these but didn't win it. Prefer the panda to the monochrome.
