      Another personal favourite. I’m. It normally a fan of diamonds but the sticks make the watch far to sporty and the Romans I for 11 just looks off

        Interesting - I have a 70s YG Day Date 36mm with quite a simple black dial with baton hour markers. The steroid version of 41mm and the big Arabics with the concentric detailing around the edge of the dial just makes the watch far too busy for what was the archetypal gold dress watch.

          I'd love a classic, gold with diamonds Day Date one day, ideally a birthday year mode, would make it even more special.

              Maybe not, but a 1920's watch is easier than that birth year sun dial that you rely upon.
